Project context & development
Holz Weiß, based in Geiselhöring, celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2025 and has since been investing heavily in the expansion of its furniture division. In 2026, the company will open a showroom covering 800 m²—an expansion from its previous size—as well as a new workshop building equipped with state-of-the-art machinery. Hettich hardware has been an integral part of the company’s technical equipment since 1995 and has supported its evolution into a full-service provider.
Practical applications of Hettich products
For his graduation project—a bar cabinet inspired by the Empire State Building—a bespoke solution for narrow internal drawers was developed, thanks to the Hettich customer advisor’s dedicated support. This successful collaboration marked the beginning of a close, long-standing partnership, which continues to be defined by excellent service and fast, solution-oriented collaboration with the Hettich team.
Built-in features
In the 800 square metre extended showroom, Holz Weiß showcases not only furniture but also other elements that define a room, such as windows, flooring, sun protection, front doors and much more – all crafted by skilled artisans. The showroom enables customers to try out furniture and fittings for themselves. They receive personalised advice from the owners, Robert and Alexander Weiß. This allows them to experience the functionality, appearance and materials first-hand.
The AvanTech YOU drawer system from Hettich has been particularly impressive at the showroom. Its modern look, with its slim, straight frames appeals to the visitors. The Weiß family makes good use of the sample book showing the various colours and finishes available for the drawer system during their consultations.

Also on show are a wide variety of Sliding door fittings and cup hinges, notably the Sensys range with integrated soft-close mechanism in Obsidian Black. Hettich’s modern Cadro aluminium frame system is also featured. This makes it easy to create bespoke modern shelf systems.
