Drawers from their most pleasing side
InnoTech drawer system with platform concept: Design flexibility and attractive marks of distinction at the turn of a hand
Whether in the kitchen, bathroom, living area, office, hotel or shop – furniture should look just as appealing on the inside as it does on the outside. Add to this a touch of individuality, and the job of pleasing design purists is just about done. The InnoTech drawer system from Hettich is now joined by an attractive option that gives interiors a mark of distinction. The clever part: All drawer components can be used exactly as they are.
Designed as a platform concept, the InnoTech drawer system can be used to create all looks using the same drawer profiles, rear panels and unchanged Quadro runners with a range of loading capacities. Even the drawer fronts, including drill holes, remain completely as they are. As such, the InnoTech system also makes it possible to add a mark of distinction through the design of pull-outs and pot-and-pan drawers, as demonstrated on over 190 pages in the new catalogue.
Whereas a railing has so far been necessary for creating closed pot-and-pan drawer sides, the new DesignSide now permits the use of glass, stone or other trendsetting materials without incorporating a railing above. The effect is astonishing because the focus of design surpasses purely functional aspects. The end-to-end concept of the InnoTech system has been key to this development towards drawer styling that's become ever more effective and design-centred. Using simple means, such as stick-on decorative profiles in a look of chrome and stainless steel, it provides the capability of achieving high-end design effects. With the new DesignSide, on-trend materials important in furniture design can be integrated seamlessly and harmoniously in the carcase as well.
The DesignSide adapters are available in grey, anthracite and white to match the design of the drawer. If furniture is equipped with drawers featuring decorative profiles in chrome or stainless-steel effect, this design can also be continued throughout pan-drawer level; because the grey or white adapters can additionally be made to match with chrome applications, the anthracite-coloured adapters with stainless-steel applications.
The ease with which they are retrofitted helps to upgrade show kitchens quickly and with minimum effort. The result is an attractive selling point that's always right on target. This is backed up by interesting service tools for sales dialogues, such as the “InnoTech Variants" presenter or the new "Intelligent Kitchens – Not Born Yesterday" film. This addresses the focus of the kitchen segment: showing consumers the advantages of modern fitting systems and the need to renew their kitchens.
