They make the difference
What you need to know about hinges
Hinges have developed into powerful High-Tech products. The permanent stress to which they are subjected means that it's a matter of sophisticated technology and clever functionality.
We offer hinges for all types of applications. They are distinguished by long life (durability), high load capacity and a multitude of safety functions. So designed and fitted, hinges can be quickly mounted and dismounted, adjusted without problem, have different opening variants and angles and, when necessary, a spring force adjustment for different door widths.
We produce our hinges in indestructable steel. Butt and finial butt hinges are produced in solid brass.
Flap hinges are in hard-wearing plastic or zinc diecast.

Special hinges
Focus on: Number of cup hinges
35 mm cup hinges are used on normal width doors in kitchens, living areas and bedrooms.
26 mm cup hinges are mainly used in small narrow cupboards, for example, in bathroom furniture. The diagram shows the correct number of cup hinges which should be used.
Difference
Focus on: Mounting types / door thicknesses
Normally, the door is positioned
in front of the side panel.
In a half-overlay mounting, two doors are mounted on one panel. When closed the doors cover the centre panel by a few millimeters.
The inset mounting is seldom
used: Here the door is positioned
completely inside the side panel.
The cross mounting plate on the
side panel must be offset set
backwards depending on the
door thickness.
Focus on: Opening angle
Standard cup hinges have an opening angle of 95° to 110°.
There are also wide angle
hinges with an opening angle
of 165°, which are used, for
instance, on television cabinets.
