| Can you visualize an office concept, which has mobile, technical fittings, for the ‘Business Nomad’? Can you imagine combining the advantages of an independent office with the infrastructure of a team office? No? Please come and visit us at our Business Lounge (Kirchlengern, Building A1, first floor), where a similar business concept was implemented a few years ago and has proved extremely successful.
There are no definite allocations of work places in this lounge. Each person can seek his/her own work place, according to his/her requirements (independent office or an open-plane area?) project work in a team or individually?) This is possible, because the desks are completely cleared in the evening after the day’s work and each employee is busy with his/her Notebook and work becomes paper free. Important papers or documents are gathered in roll containers and placed at the respective work place. There are only 15 work places in this business lounge. They are divided into 5 individual offices, an open plan office and three additional work places.
All work areas are enclosed by sliding glass walls. Each employee can completely shut himself off from the others, when required. At the same time, instant and open communication is made possible by the open doors.
Furthermore, our guests can get ready for an impending meeting over a cup of coffee in our headquarters and can also access the Internet.
The significance of this concept was evident in January 2008, when nearly 20 users availed of the Business Lounge services on extremely busy days. |
