We are the quality management and want to improve our efforts by working closely with the apprentices. The project is called‚Do it right’. We want to incorporate the quality awareness into the training intensively and explain that constant thirst for knowledge is necessary. One should also be able to give a lecture on quality cogitations. So far, so good.
We started this project in October 2006 and have specified the following course of action:
1. The apprentice will receive the essential information (InfoTech) about Q-Topics, material flow, contact person / department. 2. The topic and associated practical exercises are given to the person in charge of training. 3. The apprentice should acquire training in the topic and present his subject before a group of trainers and other persons in charge of training. Working time: 3-4 Weeks.
A test run was started on 1st August 2007 with Wilhelm Epp and Julian Metzner, who are tool engineering technicians / die cutting and metal forming technology in their third year of training at HPH. Three weeks later, the duo presented their newly acquired skills in a power point presentation made to their instructors and successfully concluded the project. It is both heartening and astonishing to realize, that we could incorporate so much knowledge into ourselves in such a short time.
The participants concluded: This method of learning is really fun! |
