The finals of MARGA, the General Management Business Simulation, took place from 24th to 26th of September 2007. After various qualification rounds the most successful teams of MARGA 2007 Spring round reached the live finals which took place at Schloss Gracht, the campus of the European School of Management and Technology. Being “managers on time” the teams succeeded in running their MARGA Company under harsh market conditions while beating many competitors.

The competition started with 60 teams of 32 companies. Only four teams made it through the qualification round, the quarter finals and the semi final. These four finalists were selected to compete in the live finals. For the first time Hettich belonged to the last four teams. After five decision rounds the Hettich-Team made an outstanding 3rd place.

MARGA is offered in two different versions. MARGA Industry focuses on production companies in the global market. MARGA Service focuses on service companies with a successful service management. Following teams were honored in the award ceremony:

Mr. Höfer from Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt handed over the certificates to the successful teams. On behalf of the management Andreas Hettich congratulated the Hettich MARGA Team on the brilliant achievement.
