Development of “juniors” has been successful for 10 years

A jubilee is always a good reason to look back, especially on a success story. The first group of qualified employees joined the "Junior Action" development program in 1996. Development programs have been pursued before, but not in such systematic way. From that time on young people who succeeded in their first professional steps and showed potential should be developed systematically with the "Junior Action" program. Furthermore, this was intended to happen in a team.
Over a period of three years the “juniors” have the possibility to initiate and implement interdisciplinary projects, gain new experiences, to socialize with workmates and meet with the Management.
Bernd Riechers, a member of the Management, supports the young employees when Hettich`s juniors from all the sectors meet eight times a year. This emphasizes the importance of our internal development of young employees. More than 100 young men and women from german and foreign companies have successfully taken part in this program so far. The most of today’s managers were among the participants of “Junior Action” as well as numerous employees being now highly qualified experts and project managers and taking on greater responsibility. “Junior Action” is a successful development program which Hettich will continue to pursue in order to qualify and support young people within the Group.
