Competence development

In high-performance sport it is normal to train intensive and concentrate on the goal. This is often disregarded in professional world. You just go along and develop in some way. We think differently. We need structures and methods which help to develop the employees` strengths. This is what Hettich Competence Management is responsible for. We believe that “competencies” are more than just professional skills. We designed our own competence model (House of Competence ©) which shows what “developing competencies” is about. 



In order to guarantee precise competence development, we follow the requirements based on the job profiles. These job profiles derive from our strategies and processes. In regular discussions the executive and the employee agree on what needs to be done and document the results in the competence profile. The respective development process results from this strategy. The following chart shows how it works.
