| Finding and developing potentials is very important for Hettich. Our program “Junior Action” was initiated by the management and exists since 1996. The “Juniors” are competent young employees with Hettich experience. Over a specific period the participants have the possibility to initiate and implement interdisciplinary projects, make new experiences in different sectors, to socialize with workmates and meet the management. The participants` own initiative and self-organisation are the criteria to be developed in this program. “Junior Action” takes place at different locations eight times a year. The “Juniors” coming from all the technical and commercial areas of the international company Hettich are being supported by one member of the management in a constant way. That enables a competent dialog about important developments within the company. Moreover, the “Juniors” get the chance to see their ideas being implemented.
More than 100 young men and women from german and foreign companies have successfully taken part in this program so far. The most of today’s managers were among the participants of “Junior Action” as well as numerous employees being now highly qualified experts and project managers and taking on greater responsibility. “Junior Action” is a successful development program which Hettich will continue to pursue in order to qualify and support young people within the company. Our success speaks for itself.
