Paul Hettich GmbH & Co. KG (Werk Berlin) is a production company in the Hettich Group. The plant with its 240 employees offers customers a complete service – from consulting and tool making to component production and surface treatment. Highly-trained and experienced engineers and technicians with a high level of specialist know-how in tool making and stamping techniques develop complete solutions to meet product specifications. The company has the expertise and equipment to deploy a very broad range of manufacturing and finishing processes – stamping, shaping, cold-impact extrusion, hardening, galvanising, powder coating and final assembly. In line with our rigorous environmental guidelines we take environmental issues into account in product development and in our choice of manufacturing techniques. Our aim is products that not only meet cost and quality specifications, but also score well on environmental compatibility. Our efforts were acknowledged with the Berliner Umweltpreis (Berlin Environmental Award) in March 1999.

At present, 14 young people are completing apprenticeships with the company, training as electrical technicians, galvaniser and industrial and toolmaking mechanics. In addition, we offer a number of internships and placements for undergraduate thesis students from various Berlin and Potsdam higher education institutions.
