As qualified industrial engineer I have always been very interested in analysing technical processes and interrelationships and in making them transparent and measurable. This is what I was aiming at while working for my first employer, IBM. Also working for my second employer, the Hettich Group, this has been my focus for the last 15 years.
After working in the business administration and being commercial director in the subsidiary of the DIY Company, I have had the chance to gain a few years of work experience in the field of International Controlling at Hettich Holding.
As Hettich expands the role of a Controller to an internal advisor, I have had the possibility to take part in various national and international projects. It was very challenging and fascinating to solve various problems in teamwork with colleagues from different nationalities and therefore working with different personalities and opinions.
Later, for nearly five years I enjoyed working as Managing Director for a company connected with the Hettich Group. There, the main focal points were Commercial Management as well as Production and Purchasing. I have learned a lot taking on fascinating responsibilities like the cultivation of new suppliers home and abroad or the reorganisation of the company.
Now, as General Manager of Hettich Management Service I again have a new scope of duties. And this characteristic fact makes working for the Hettich Group so attractive.
