After qualifying as an special assistant for attorneys and notaries, I lookedfor a new challenge in industry. And so I joined Hettich nearly 25 years ago. I started my career as a trainee secretary in the Group's head office. A year later, I became secretary to one of the owners. I hardly need to say that this was a great change after a small attorney's office. With the support of many experienced colleagues and my boss I was able to find my feet in the Hettich world.

Later on, when I added secretarial work for the human resource director to my normal job, I discovered a whole new and interesting area of the company. After maternity leave and a few years as a part-timer, it was an easy decision to say "Yes" to a job in human resource management when I went back to full-time work. Now my challenge as personal assistant to two human resource managers lies in managing their back office, taking an active part in projects and helping the trainers in the business and commerce section to look after the apprentices.

It is great fun to take an active part in this small, competent team.

During these years in the company I have learned that initiative, open-mindedness and commitment are important factors for a successful career. And I have always received a lot of support and encouragement from the company.
