I'm Heinrich Fasse.

My Hettich career started in the mid-1980s with an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic specializing in plant operation. Since then the toolmaking section at Hettich ONI has become my second home. I didn't stop learning and quite soon I had an instructor's certificate in my pocket. Once I had this qualification, I was given responsibility for apprenticeship training. Working with young people and the opportunity to pass on my knowledge gives me great pleasure.

The task of designing and making tools has always fascinated me and I was very happy to be offered the job of foreman. Today we work as a team of nine specialists in the department. The greatest challenge during my 20 years at Hettich was the continuous expansion of the separate production areas at Hettich in Vlotho-Exter. It involved ongoing development and modernization of the production facilities, altering some machines and the close cooperation with the design teams. It was just one part of my really fascinating job. I think my colleagues respect my experience and know-how, at least I'm often asked for advice. All in all I feel very much at home in the big Hettich family.
