Job description: During your apprenticeship as a casting mechanic you will acquire a broad knowledge base in the areas of modern diecasting system, hydraulics, pneumatics and control technology. Casting mechanics produce exact product units made of zinc and magnesium using modern casting system.
You will be in charge of the various peripherals, such as robots, handling and temperature control systems and will provide the installation, control and servicing of the casting plants.
The work requires among other things: - Operational installation of machines - Measuring, controlling and regulating production processes - Documentation and controlling of processes and quality

Duration and certification: 3 years with an option of shorter time; Chamber of Industry and Commerce certificate
Additional measures: - In-house schooling - External and internal lectures - Regular progress review and coaching by the chief instructor
Educational requirements Qualified extended elementary school or secondary school degree
